Electricity statistics, monthly
Submit information
Statistics Sweden is currently developing our web-based data-collection tool. Respondents may temporarily encounter various user interfaces when seeking to submit data.
The purpose of the survey is to present the supply and use of electricity in Sweden, and provide a basis for energy balances and forecasts of the development of production and distribution of electricity. The statistics are used as a basis for expansion of power stations and transmission networks. In order to follow customer activities on the market, the number of customers who switch electricity suppliers is also studied.
Information about electricity use is collected by Statistics Sweden and information about electricity supply is submitted by the consulting firm Swede Energy, which together with Statistics Sweden produces the survey Monthly electricity statistics.
The survey is monthly and is conducted on behalf of the Swedish Energy Agency.
