Workplace number used on the income statements
Submit information
Statistics Sweden is currently developing our web-based data-collection tool. Respondents may temporarily encounter various user interfaces when seeking to submit data.
Instructions
This survey is sent to the enterprises that have submitted income statements to the Swedish Tax Agency where the workplace number is either incomplete or missing.
Information on workplace numbers is used by Statistics Sweden for official statistics on, among other things, employment and wage totals. By linking the employees to a specific workplace found in Statistics Sweden’s Business Database, the empoyed can be distributed by region and industry. The statistics are an important basis for planning and decisions at various levels in society.
Your response
Enterprises that have not submitted complete information concerning workplace numbers to the Swedish Tax Agency will receive a questionnaire from Statistics Sweden in April. Statistics Sweden checks the information about workplace number according to the act about workplace numbers (1984:533). The Obligation to provide information about workplace numbers is regulated by the Tax Procedure Act (2011:1244) . Failure to submit data may lead to a fine. When the information is published, no single company, workplace or individual will be able to be identified.
Survey timetable
