Development of disclosure protection for statistics

At Statistics Sweden, development work is under way with the aim of adapting the disclosure protection of individual-based statistics to external conditions. Statistics Sweden is required to protect individuals’ data from being disclosed in the reported statistics. This protection is designed to provide adequate protection against disclosure without unnecessarily reducing the value of the information. The method used is called the ‘Cell Key Method’ (CKM).
