Through Statistics Sweden's review of the definition of the statistical units, the interpretation of the economic statistics focusing on the non-financial sector is changing. The review involves new applications of the units: enterprise, kind-of-activity unit (KAU), and local kind-of-activity unit (LKAU). This will change the way the statistics are interpreted.
During the process of implementing the new interpretation of statistical units, we are conducting analyses of the effects on the statistics. First up is an analysis of the survey Structural Business Statistics (SBS) using the new versus the old interpretation of statistical units.
