The meeting was attended by representatives from the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE), the Czech Statistical Office (CZSO), Statistics Sweden and representatives from the European Commission/Eurostat. The Director-General of Statistics Sweden, Mr. Joakim Stymne, congratulated the Czech Presidency Team on their achievements and thanked for the excellent cooperation over the last months. He also said that the Swedish team is fully prepared to take over all the duties relating to the Presidency. The team looks forward to the work in the Council Working Party on Statistics and hopes for a collaborative and effective spring in the Working Party for Statistics.

The Director-General of Statistics Sweden, Mr. Joakim Stymne, receive the symbolic relay stick from the President of the Czech Statistical Office, Mr Marek Rojíček.
