  • No upturn in sales of fertilisers despite increased crop production

    Sales of nitrogen in mineral fertilisers from July 2018 to June 2019 were at the same level as a year ago and amounted to 182 700 tonnes. Sales of phosphorus were 10 percent lower than a year ago and amounted to 12 800 tonnes.

  • Drought reduced the need for fertilisers

    Sales of nitrogen in mineral fertilisers from July 2017 to June 2018 were 7 percent lower than the year before and amounted to 184 200 tonnes in total. Sales of phosphorus were much the same as the year before and amounted to 14 300 tonnes in total.

  • High yields increased sales of mineral fertilisers

    Sales of nitrogen in mineral fertilisers from July 2016 until June 2017 increased by seven percent and amounted to 198 500 tonnes in total. Sales of phosphorus were 1 300 tonnes (10 percent) higher than the year before and amounted to 14 400 tonnes in total.

  • Sales of nitrogen at the same level as the two previous years

    Sales of nitrogen in mineral fertilisers sold from July 2015 to June 2016 were at the same level as the previous year and amounted to 186 000 tonnes in total. Sales of phosphorus was 600 tonnes (5 percent) higher than the previous year and amounted to 13 100 tonnes in total.
