    Swedish industry’s total environmental protection expenditure amounted to SEK 23 billion in 2021, which is 11 percent more than in 2020. This change is due to increases in current environmental protection expenditure and investments.

  • Environmental protection expenditure increased in 2020

    Swedish industry’s total environmental protection expenditure amounted to SEK 21 billion in 2020, which is 16 percent more than in 2019. This increase is due to rising in both current environmental protection expenditure and investments.

  • Current environmental protection expenditure increased in 2019

    Swedish industry’s total environmental protection expenditure amounted to SEK 18.1 billion in 2019, which is 4 percent more than in 2018. This increase is due to rising current environmental protection expenditure.
