    Swedish industry’s total environmental protection expenditure amounted to SEK 21 billion in 2020, which is 16 percent more than in 2019. This increase is due to rising in both current environmental protection expenditure and investments.

    Swedish industry’s total environmental protection expenditure amounted to SEK 18.1 billion in 2019, which is 4 percent more than in 2018. This increase is due to rising current environmental protection expenditure.

  • Investments in biodiversity protection increased in industry

    Swedish industry’s total environmental protection expenditure amounted to SEK 17.3 billion in 2018, up by 12 percent from 2017. This is mainly due to an increase in investments for the protection of biodiversity and landscapes.
