The statistics are presented every five to six years and cover all Swedish holdings with professional production of horticultural plants on at least 0,25 hectares of open ground or 200 square meters of greenhouse area. By ”horticultural plants” we mean vegetables, fresh herbs and pulses, fruit, berries and ornamental plants. In contrast, potatoes, dried or conserved herbs or pulses and nursery plants for forestry are not included.
