Increasing speed for fixed broadband

While the percentage of enterprises with access to the internet has been still at 98 percent for the last six years, the speed of broadband continues to increase. Compared to 2014 there has been a clear upward shift of the contracted download speed.
As recently as five years ago, 7 percent of enterprises had a download speed below 2 Mbit/second, but today the percentage of enterprises with such a low speed is close to zero. This also applies to small enterprises and industries that use IT to a low extent.
