Definitions and explanations

On June 15 2011 reelections to the county council in Västra Götaland and the municipal council in Örebro, the northeast constituency, were held. The background to the reelections were that the the Election Review Board couldn’t rule out that errors that had occurred didn’t have an effect on the election results.

A small part of the advanced votes, manly those given on the Election Day, can’t be attributed to a single electoral district. Hence the voting turnout by electoral district is somewhat underestimated. The late given advanced votes only represent 2-3 percent of all the votes that are given.
