Petroleum fuels (gasoline, diesel oil, domestic heating oil, residual fuel oil, aviation fuels and other fuels) together constitutes a large share of the total amount of chemical products classified as dangerous to health and the environment.
Data in the diagram on use of Petroleum fuels is based on the Swedish Environmental Accounts.
Note that big differences between the years doesn't necessarily mean that there have been a real change in volumes, but can reflect the fact that substances in a chemical product can go from being not labelled as harmful, to being labelled as harmful.
