Investment funds 4th quarter, 2024
Fund assets increase by 4.0 percent
Statistical news from Statistics Sweden and Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority 2025-02-24 8.00
At the end of the fourth quarter of 2024, the total fund assets in Swedish funds amounted to SEK 8,243 billion. This is an increase of SEK 319 billion, corresponding to 4.0% compared to the previous quarter.
- This is the largest quarterly increase since the first quarter of 2024, when it was around 10 percent. The value change over the past quarter is partly due to some foreign funds merging with their corresponding Swedish funds, says Malcolm Svensson Rothmaier, economist at Statistics Sweden’s Financial Market Statistics section.

As a result of this change, Statistics Sweden will not report transactions in fund units for households and financial corporations, as well as households' fund holdings in individual pension savings (IPS).
