Built-up areas
Activities zones and retail trade areas
The statistics describe the number of employees, workplaces, industries, and areas. Activities zones include airports, mines and pits, industrial zones, and zones with higher education and health care establishments. Statistics Sweden creates geodata with activities zones and retail trade areas. Geodata is available as open data.
The statistics describe contiguous areas that consist mainly of holiday homes. A holiday home area is a collection of at least 50 holiday homes, where the distance between them does not exceed 150 metres.
Urban areas, localities and small localities
The statistics describe land area, population, and more, within the built-up areas which are classified as localities and urban areas (at least 200 inhabitants) and as small localities (50-199 inhabitants). Statistics Sweden creates geodata with the built-up areas. Geodata is available as open data.

Construction and conversion
Prices for newly produced dwellings
The statistics present the price of newly produced dwellings, that is, the cost that the investor pays for a new building project by multi-dwelling buildings and collectively built one- or two-dwelling buildings. A project can contain one or more buildings, such as a garage, garbage room, etc.
Statistics on building permits, new construction and conversion
The statistics show building permits for new construction, the the scope and direction of construction of residential buildings, such as started and completed dwelling units by different building types and net changes in the number of dwellings in multi-dwelling buildings by conversion, for example conversion of attics into dwellings.

Yearbook of Housing and Building Statistics
The Yearbook on Housing and Building Statistics has been discontinued. It was published in 1980-2010 and in 2012. The statistics in the yearbook has also been published in other forms, such as databases, statistical news or reports. Statistical sources and contact information based on the latest yearbook is available in the document Sources for the 2012 Housing and Building Statistics Yearbook.

Housing and accommodation
Charges/rents for newly constructed dwellings
The statistics show rents/fees and prices of different types of apartments in new production in different parts of the country by apartment type and form of tenure per region.
The statistics present the number of apartments in the dwelling stock. The dwelling stock is presented in the Statistical Database by type of building, period of construction, type of ownership, tenure and size (living area). The regional breakdown of statistics consists of national, county and municipal levels. Other regional levels can be produced on commission.
The data on households' housing is a yearly survey comprising Sweden's registered population. The statistics provide information on type of housing and space standard for households and individuals.
Statistics show rent levels and rent changes in rental dwellings. The data is reported by region (municipal level and up), apartment type (number of rooms) and ownership category. The survey is based on a statistical sample of approximately 16 000 dwellings in multi-dwelling buildings and one- or two-dwelling buildings throughout the country.
Revenues and expenditure survey for multi-dwelling buildings
The statistics show average income and expenditure for multi-dwelling buildings and information on interest rates, loans and conversion costs. The statistics are divided into municipal housing companies, tenant owners' associations and private real estate.
Unlet dwellings in multi-dwelling buildings
The statistics show the proportion of unlet dwellings in multi-dwelling buildings and the structure of the housing stock. The statistics present how many of the unlet dwellings are available for rent and how many are evacuated for repair, demolition or that are unlet for another reason. From 2024 onwards, the survey will be conducted every three years.

Land use
Statistics of forest land within the four forms Formally protected forest land, Voluntary set-asides, Consideration patches and Unproductive forest land. Where possible, the statistics are reported by county level or by geographical regions. The information is produced in collaboration between four Swedish authorities; Statistics Sweden, the Swedish Forest Agency, the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency and the Swedish National Forest Inventory.
Green areas within and in the vicinity of urban settlements
The statistics describe the structure of green areas in major urban areas as well as the extent to which the population has access to the green areas. The statistics are produced by a combined analysis of satellite images and register data.

The statistics describe the population and settlement structure along the coasts, on islands and along the beaches and waterways. The reported data include coastal and beach lengths, number of islands, population and buildings on the islands and along the water areas.
The statistics provide a comprehensive description of how the land in Sweden is used for different purposes and how land use has changed over time. Data is presented on the size of the land areas used for agriculture, forestry and buildings and infrastructure of various kinds.

The purpose of this survey is to give an overall view of protected areas in Sweden. Protected areas are defined here as statutory protection of nature regulated by the Environmental Code, such as national parks, nature reserves etc.

Real estate prices and registrations of title
The statistics present price level, price trends and turnover in the real estate market for granted registrations of title via registration of title deeds or registration of site leaseholds. The statistics covers the entire real estate market. The survey also presents comprehensive turnover statistics of tenant-owned dwellings.
The statistics present factors such as taxation values, the number of assessed units, construction year for all real estate in Sweden. The data is based on general, simplified and special real estate assessments carried out by the Swedish Tax Agency.
