The assessed value of all taxable real estate in Sweden increased by SEK 483 billion, or 4.0 percent, in the 2023 general and special assessment of real estate. The total assessed value of all taxable real estate in Sweden is SEK 12 582 billion.
The increase of 25.5 percent for agriculture and forestry units is mainly due to the general assessment of this type of real estate carried out in 2023. The total assessed value for this type amounts to SEK 1 699 billion.
For other assessed units that have been subject to a special assessment, the change in tax values has been marginal. The total assessed value of one- or two-dwelling building units increased by 0.8 percent. The total assessed value of multi-dwelling building and commercial building units increased by 1.6 percent. The total assessed value of Industrial units decreased by 2.3 percent.
One- or two-dwelling buildings, built (type code 220), with the highest average assessed value, SEK 9 777 000, are located in Danderyd municipality. Buildings with the lowest average assessed value, SEK 214 000, are located in Åsele municipality.
