Gross pay increased by 5.2 percent 2023 compared with the previous year.
In 2023, the payroll increased by 5.2 percent compared with the previous year and amounted to a total of SEK 2 239 billion. The gross pay increased by 5.6 percent for women and by 4.9 percent for men.
The gross pay increased in all counties compared with the previous year, with Västerbotten County having the largest increase for both women and men, with 7.3 and 7.4 percent respectively.
