One in four companies run by a woman

Roughly one in four companies, or 27 percent, was run by a woman in 2010.
Female business leaders vary considerably among the different types of industries. In the healthcare industry 59 of 100 companies were run by women. Since 2004 the number of women who were operating managers increased by 6.6 percent.
