The percentage of the population in Sweden aged 16 years and over that live in material and social deprivation has remained relatively stable at 3-4 percent over the last few years. This is the lowest rate among all EU countries. However, Sweden is also one of the countries within the EU with the biggest difference between native- and foreign-born when it comes to material and social deprivation.
