Sharp increase in visits to green areas during the Covid-19 pandemic

Results from the 2021 SILC show that 85 percent of the population aged 16 and over had been out in the nature at least at some point in the last 12 months. 52 per cent had been out in the nature every week, an increase from 31-33 per cent in the years 2008 to 2019.
