As from January 2021, the publication “SCB-Indikatorer” (in Swedish) has merged with “Sveriges ekonomi” (in Swedish) and the new publication is issued monthly.

Swedish economy – statistical perspective, no 9 2021


The Swedish economy continued to grow in the second quarter of this year. It was primarily increased investments that drove up GDP. After the historically large decline in the second quarter of last year, GDP has increased every quarter since. In July, the positive trend continued as the GDP indicator rose for the third consecutive month, according to Statistics Sweden's periodical “Sveriges ekonomi - statistiskt perspektiv” (in Swedish).
