Increase in restaurant sales in first quarter 2022

The restaurant sales volume increased by 49.0 percent in the first quarter compared with the same period a year ago. The largest increase in sales volume, 121.7 percent, was among hotel restaurants.
This statistical news is updated on 2022-09-08. The change applies to series with fixed prices as the method for calculating the fixed price has been changed.
Entertainment restaurants recorded the second largest increase, 97.2 percent, compared with the first quarter 2021.
Turnover generated by restaurants increased by 56.3 percent in current prices in the first quarter compared with the same quarter last year.
