  • Trade in goods increases in April

    In April 2024, exports of goods increased by 12 percent in value and by 10 percent in volume compared with the same period a year ago. At the same time, imports of goods increased by 6 percent in both value and volume.

  • Net trade balance at SEK 11.9 billion in May

    In May 2024, Swedish exports of goods amounted to SEK 186.7 billion, while imports of goods amounted to SEK 174.8 billion. As a result, the net trade balance was SEK 11.9 billion.

  • Weak first quarter for foreign trade in goods

    In the first quarter 2024, exports of goods decreased by 5 percent in value and by 4 percent in volume compared with the same period a year ago. At the same time, imports of goods fell by 5 percent in value and by 3 percent in volume.

  • Net trade balance at SEK 7.9 billion in April

    In April 2024, Swedish exports of goods amounted to SEK 183.1 billion, while imports of goods amounted to SEK 175.2 billion. As a result, the net trade balance was SEK 7.9 billion.

  • Stronger trade in imports of goods in February compared with January

    In February 2024, exports of goods remained unchanged in both value and volume compared with the same period a year ago. At the same time, imports of goods decreased by 1 percent in value while they increased by 1 percent in volume.
