  • Social relations at its lowest among people 40-49 years old

    6 out of 10 women and men aged 16 or older meet with a friend or relative with whom they do not live at least once a week. Among young people aged 16–19, it is 8 out of 10.

  • One in ten has severe physical pain

    9 percent of Sweden's population, aged 16 and older, have severe pain in the shoulders, neck, back, hip, arms, or legs. That is one of the results in a report based on the Living Conditions Surveys that Statistics Sweden publishes today.

  • Reduced holiday travel during the pandemic

    Younger and middle-aged people travel more than older people, but holiday travel has decreased in all age groups according to the 2022 living conditions survey.
