The statistics measure development of the Swedish industrial production on a monthly basis. The survey is coordinated with other economy-based surveys.

In connection with the publication on 2021-10-06, the Industrial Production Index has been corrected from reference month January 2020 to July 2021. The correction affects values regarding the petroleum industry (19), the total industry sector (B+C), and all aggregates that include NACE 19. For the total industry sector, the largest correction of yearly change in calendar adjusted figures is -0.8 percentage points.

Decreased industrial production in August

2017-10-05

Industrial production decreased by 1.7 percent in August 2017 compared with July in seasonally adjusted figures. Compared with August 2016, industrial production increased by 7.3 percent in calendar adjusted figures.
