Highly qualified born abroad
The survey on highly educated foreign-born persons is a sample survey. The aim of the survey is to map the situation in the labour market for foreign-born persons with higher education, to what extent they have found work and to what extent they have found work that corresponds to their education.

In health and medical care and natural sciences, eight out of ten foreign born persons with a higher education, who had work as their main activity in 2020, also had work that matched their education. This share was the highest among all fields of education. This study is about persons who immigrated to Sweden in 2008–2019.
