Significant customers include the National Agency for Education, the Work Environment Authority and the Labour Market Board.

We offer comprehensive skills within our areas of expertise, namely the production of impartial and easily understandable wage statistics of high quality.

Methodology

The unit has the methodology expertise that is required for all the different stages of a statistical survey.
Sample surveys are planned in close cooperation with those responsible for the different subjects. This means we can select the correct samples and avoid using unnecessary resources. When data is then collected, it is essential to calculate the different statistical quantities as efficiently as possible.

Investigations

Our special expertise in the fields of statistics, economics and information technology is used to carry out advanced studies on labour market issues, with a focus on wages and labour costs. Of course, we can also use Statistics Sweden's combined expertise in these studies, such as subject experts and interviewers.

Production

Activities include extensive questionnaire surveys that are primarily focused on enterprises, local government, public sector authorities, county councils and other employers.

ADP (automated data processing)

Our ADP expertise includes everything from systems analysis to systems administration as well as maintenance and operational expertise. This includes all the stages of systems development from activity analysis to the realisation in a PC or client/server environment. This work is nearly always carried out in project groups involving subject experts, methodologists and users together with the systems developers. We follow Statistics Sweden's development and documentation models, based on relational database theory.
