Fewer smokers, more snuff users

2025-02-21

The proportion of the population aged 16 and over who smoke every day has more than halved since the late 1980s. At the same time, the proportion who use snuff daily has increased, especially among women. This is one of several results from today's publication of Statistics on Income and Living Conditions (SILC) 2024.
