Global value chains – GVC

Welcome to Statistics Sweden’s data provider page for the Global value chains (GVC) survey.

Statistics Sweden (SCB) is conducting this survey in order to gather information on the increasingly globalised way in which people do business and how activities are organised. This survey is being conducted by the EU Member States on the initiative of Eurostat, the EU’s statistical office.

Eurostat, the EU’s statistical office, has coordinated four surveys on global value chains, the international organisation of companies and relocation of activities abroad. The data from this survey will be submitted to Eurostat in aggregated form, broken down into different accounting groups on the basis of sector affiliation; and Eurostat will also publish a report based on the results from the different countries.
