Rainbow trout amount to 87 percent of Swedish fish production for consumption
2024-08-15
Fish production for consumption was estimated at 9 700 ton in round live weight in 2023. This is about 200 tonnes, equivalent to 2 percent, more than in 2022. However, fish production for restocking increased with almost 39 percent since the year before, from 860 tonnes to 1 190 tonnes.
