In the corresponding period last year, the CPIF rose by 0.3 percent. The inflation rate according to the CPI was 1.9 percent in March 2019.
The increase in the CPI from February to March 2019 was mainly due to higher prices for food (0.6 percent), clothing (1.5 percent) and fuel (2.7 percent), which all contributed upwards by 0.1 percentage point each.
