Own controls

Each project has the possibility of designating a principal user who is enabled to control use of the information in the project. The principal user can:

• perform controls to ensure that the right people are users in the project
• monitor user activity on the project
• manage data from terminated users’ own storage areas (My Documents)

Statistics Sweden’s controls

Statistics Sweden logs user activity in MONA. Logging is used by Statistics Sweden for user administration and support, and to perform follow-up and review to ensure that use of MONA is in accordance with the terms of use and with any other agreements. When a user does not comply with the terms of use, Statistics Sweden contacts the user and the person responsible for the project. Logging is also done for security reasons, because traceability is important in incidents.
