Labour Force Surveys (LFS) 2023 ) – Theme: The development on the labour market for young people
The Covid-19 pandemic affected young people on the labour market severely. The report describes the development of the labour market for young people from and including the fourth quarter of 2019 to and including the fourth quarter of 2022, with a focus on the recovery that has taken place during the latter part of the period. Unemployment, employment and the proportion outside the labor force are described both at an aggregated level and broken down into different demographic groups based on gender, age and region of birth. For employment, a breakdown is also made of the background variables degree of connection and industry. The statistics presented come from the Labor Force Surveys (AKU).
