The statistics present price level, price trends and turnover in the real estate market for granted registrations of title via registration of title deeds or registration of site leaseholds. The statistics covers the entire real estate market. The survey also presents comprehensive turnover statistics of tenant-owned dwellings.

The preliminary statistics published on June 30, 2023, for Sales of tenant-owned flats for the year 2022 were incorrect. The statistics are corrected and are available as Statistics news and table, as well as in the Statistical Database.

Sales of tenant-owned flats amounted to SEK 247 billion

In 2023, 91 568 tenant-owned flats were sold for a total value of SEK 247 billion, this is more than SEK 53 billion or almost 18 percent lower than in the previous year. The average price for a tenant-owned flat fell by almost 3 percent, from SEK 2.771 million in 2022 to SEK 2.696 million in 2023.
